Mega-byte was established near Loule on the Portuguese Algarve by a professional computer contractor who after thirteen years working in London and the home counties decided there had to be more to life than sitting on the M25.

As a result after holidaying over the last fifteen years on the Algarve it seemed a logical option to come and work somewhere familiar.

From those humble origins Mega-byte was born, and in a brief space of time has become a reliable source of computer help for many nationalities coming to the Algarve from Portuguese, English, Dutch German and Swedish.

From helping people who have recently moved to the Algarve connect to the internet, to supporting local offices and businesses with computer repairs or problems to website development and web site hosting       Mega-byte does it all.

From pc repairs to selling and building computers, Mega-byte has been involved in the computer industry for almost twenty years working with major worldwide corporations and personal computers.

We are available for support calls to both offices and residential houses, on occasions where necessary equipment will be brought back to our workshop for complete repair.
